The NAEPC Education Foundation was formed in 2005 with the purpose of enhancing the educational process for all members of the estate planning team and for the general public those practitioners serve. Our primary focus is on assisting the affiliated local estate planning councils that are members of NAEPC in their public outreach efforts.
Through its affiliation with the National Association of Estate Planners & Councils, the nearly 260 local estate planning councils affiliated with NAEPC and their estimated 29,000 multi-disciplinary members, The NAEPC Education Foundation will meet the goal of educating the public about the need for estate planning by a qualified team of professionals.
- Educate the public regarding the benefits of the multi-disciplinary team concept of estate planning as espoused by the National Association of Estate Planners & Councils
- Provide information to the public on estate planning and financial literacy to improve their understanding of the process
- Encourage and support the development of nationwide educational conferences, seminars, forums, and meetings with regard to estate and financial planning for estate planning councils, professionals, related disciplines, and the public
Through our public outreach efforts, and by assisting our councils in their efforts, we will educate the public on what estate planning is, why it is so important, the reasons to do estate planning, and how to best identify the professional team of advisors ready to assist.
