P. Thomas Austin
Ziegler, Metzger & Miller

P. Thomas Austin is a Certified Public Accountant, and, after a 38-year career with Ernst & Young, is now consulting with CPAs, Ziegler, Metzger & Miller, of Cleveland, Ohio, and other law firms, Corporate Benefits Advisors, Inc., and other professional organizations. He specializes in estate planning, business succession planning, and personal financial planning services.

Mr. Austin received his BS degree from Miami University and earned his MBA at the University of Michigan. He also received his MSFS degree from The American College. He is a past president of the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants, the Financial and Estate Planning Councils of both Detroit and Cleveland, and the Cleveland Society of Estate Analysts, and a member of the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants. In addition to being a CPA, he has also earned designations as a Chartered Life Underwriter, a Chartered Financial Consultant, and a Certified Financial Planner. He has served as Chairman of the AICPA Advanced Estate Planning Conference since 1977.

Mr. Austin is Treasurer of the Episcopal Diocese of Ohio and Assistant to the Bishop for Planned Giving. He is a member of the City Club of Cleveland and has served on the Board of Trustees for various civic and church institutions. He is currently the Vice President for Endowment of the Greater Cleveland Council, Boy Scouts of America.
