Pam H. Schneider

Schneider is a partner in the Pennsylvania law firm of Gadsden
Schneider & Woodward LLP, a boutique firm concentrating in
estate planning, trust and estates administration and
litigation and related areas of tax and personal and fiduciary
law. She received her B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania
in 1973 and her J.D. from Columbia Law School in 1976. Ms.
Schneider is a past Chair of the Section on Real Property,
Probate and Trust Law of the American Bar Association and a
past member of the Board of Regents of the American College of
Trust and Estate Counsel. She is a member of the Advisory
Committee to the State Commission on Decedents' Estates Laws
in Pennsylvania and an adjunct professor at New York
University School of Law, where she teaches a course in their
Masters (of Law) Program in Taxation. In addition, she serves
as an Advisor to two of the American Law Institute's projects
on the Restatement of the Law and was elected an academician
of The International Academy of Estate and Trust Law.
Ms. Schneider has lectured extensively throughout the
United States on various estate planning topics, including at
the University of Miami Estate Planning Institute (where she
also serves on the Institute's Advisory Board) and the
University of Southern California Tax Institute. She has been
recognized as one of the nation's top estate planning lawyers
by inclusion in several publications, including The Best
Lawyers in America, Who's Who in American Law,
Town & Country magazine and Bloomberg Personal Finance
Magazine and was named Best Lawyers' 2010 Philadelphia
Area Trusts and Estates Lawyer of the Year. She was also named
the "1998 Distinguished Estate Planner" by the Philadelphia
Estate Planning Council |
