Mr. Oshins received an EPIC Award as Best Young Author from Trusts & Estates magazine in 1998. He is also a frequent lecturer nationally on advanced estate planning and asset protection techniques, including lecturing at the Heckerling Institute on Estate Planning.

Mr. Oshins has been very active in helping get some of the most valuable trust and creditor protection laws passed in Nevada, including making the charging order the exclusive remedy of a judgment creditor against a Nevada business entity, the 365-year dynasty trust law and the ability to create a Restricted LLC or LP, thus making Nevada the first state to offer this type of business entity and making Nevada the leading jurisdiction for valuation discounts.
