He is an active member of the Forum 400, the Association for Advanced Life Underwriting, and Philadelphia Estate Planning Council. Mr. Gibbons is the proud recipient of the Paul S. Mills Scholarship (2002) from the Foundation for Financial Service Professionals and the Distinguished Estate Planner award (2005) from the Philadelphia Estate Planning Council.

Being active in the local community has always been important to Mr. Gibbons. He is a past Board Chair for the Visiting Nurses Association (VNA) of Trenton, NJ, and has served as past president for St. Joseph's Prep Fathers' Club and Spring-Ford Country Club. He continues to be an active member of the Philadelphia Zoo Gift Planning Advisory Council and Temple University Planned Giving Advisory Council.
