Volunteering with NAEPC
NAEPC is a dynamic and growing association comprised of affiliated local estate planning councils and their members, Estate Planning Law Specialist certificants, and Accredited Estate Planner® designees, led entirely by a volunteer board of directors, a strong committee configuration, and many volunteers serving on an as-needed basis for project-based or task force work. We are always looking to expand our volunteer base and encourage council leaders, council members, and designees to get involved by serving as committee members.
Service opportunities fall primarily within three "Towers" that support our core values of Collaboration, Education, and Cultivation. In addition, the Website & Technology Committee serves both NAEPC and its affiliated local councils.

Education Tower
Education helps estate planners stay current so that they can offer the latest planning ideas to their clients. NAEPC helps its members (and helps councils offer education to their members) via (a) the Annual Advanced Estate Planning Strategies Conference that provides two and one-half days of continuing education with best in-class speakers and topics for all estate planners and (b) monthly one hour webinars through the Robert G. Alexander Webinar Series that feature the same high-quality speakers. Finally, the NAEPC Journal of Estate & Tax Planning, available on a complimentary basis, gathers the best estate planning articles from numerous authors and sources in one easy-to-find location. These educational opportunities can keep every estate planner on the cutting edge of the profession.
