2021 Virtual Council Leadership Events
 

In keeping with the times and the production of predominantly virtual meetings, NAEPC is excited to be hosting four different types of development events for Estate Planning Councils and their leaders during 2021:

Roundtable Events (RT)
These hour-long sessions provide a "deep dive" into the topic of the day.  Attendees will learn best practices from other council leaders and the national office and the events often include smaller group breakout sessions.  The sessions planned for councils of like-size will provide dialogue related to general operations.  The agenda for each Roundtable will be created with attendee input.

Leadership Day Programs (LD)
The modern version of “Regional Leadership Day,” these two-day programs mix education about the benefits available to councils and members with topic-based breakouts for a well-rounded event learning and sharing experience.  We’ll address important topics like membership growth, retention, and recruitment, sponsorship programs, educational programming, operations, diversity, equity and inclusion, etc., and ample time is available for questions.

Website Tutorials (W)
Crafted for users of the NAEPC Website Solutions, these hour-long events address specific features and functions of the website system.  Non-users are welcome to learn more about the sites and their capabilities, existing users should attend to make sure the site is being used to the best of its abilities, and the events are always recorded and available for on-demand viewing. 

Executive/ Administrator-Only Sessions (E)
Created for the staff executive / administrator, these special private 1.5 – 2 hour sessions give these special individuals an opportunity to connect with others in their same role and subject matter varies from NAEPC-related content to general association management topics – and everything in between.  No two events are the same!

Registration is open to all board members for all events (except for the executive-only sessions) and unlimited, meaning you are welcome to register for as many events as you, your council, and its board wish to attend.  We do not anticipate any of the events selling out, but encourage early registration so that we have as much attendee feedback to prepare the agenda as possible, which helps to make each event more impactful.

NAEPC has chosen Zoom as the delivery platform for these events.  Unfortunately, not all firms permit the use of Zoom so if you are prevented from using it due to company restrictions, please plan ahead to join us using a personal computer or cellular phone or by simply dialing in and listening to the event from a telephone.   If you will be using a personal device, please test your connection early; an app or registration may be needed the first time Zoom is used.
